WT Woodson Chorus

May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, may the God that loves us all hold you in the palm of his hand. Amen.

Dessert on Broadway - Dessert on Broadway or “DOB” is the Choral Department’s annual musical review performed in a cabaret setting. Every year we are fortunate to have a huge cast of parent and alumni parent volunteers who spend many hours transforming the Woodson cafeteria into an elegant cabaret, complete with a New York skyline; setting and clearing tables for each performance; baking and preparing desserts and drinks; costuming and making up the performers in lavish style; selling tickets; checking coats; and chaperoning and feeding the performers backstage.
PLEASE JOIN US --- In return for your hard work, we promise you tremendous rewards, considerable bonding, and much fun.

Pam Lorenz

Uniforms - The uniform committee works all year, from Uniform Day until the final spring concert, when the uniforms are turned in. We are always looking for parent volunteers to help out at picture day, before performances and on trips. If you are interested in volunteering to help out with uniforms, please contact me. No experience is necessary and getting to know both the students and parents is great. I've known most of the students since they were freshmen and they are truly dedicated, respectful, hardworking and, most of all, fun to be around!

Rose Clark

Volunteer Coordinator- Our choral department relies on many volunteers throughout the year. Volunteers will be contacted by committee chairs, based on the volunteer recruitment forms turned in at uniform day. We especially need volunteers for many jobs for Dessert on Broadway. Volunteering is a great way to meet other choral families, and it's a lot of fun!
