Woodson Chorus plays an important role in our students’ lives! Music is extremely beneficial for academic and emotional growth, health and well-being. Participating in chorus connects students to each other and the community. Your donation supports a choral student's gift of song and helps build relationships that will last a lifetime. As you may know, the Woodson Choral Program is not fully funded by the Fairfax County Public School System. Your contributions will directly support:

- Special instructional programs with professional guest clinicians;
- Music purchases to expose students to a wide range of innovative musical choices;
- Compensation for our accompanists, instrumentalists, sound/light designers 
- Assistance to students with financial need to purchase uniforms and other expenses;
- Awards and scholarships for those chosen for honors choirs;
- Travel expenses and reduced fees for special events and competitions;
- Production of our annual community favorite, Dessert on Broadway
